Why Support We've Got You Inc.?
The aim is to create a network of healthcare professionals with adequate training, who can advise and support people who experience the loss of a child within the hospital system or in our community. Plus, ensuring best practice within the hospital, appropriate care and referral to appropriate support at the adequate time. We are building a database of resources that are available within our local community to assist all members of our community if they need support.
By working with SW Healthcare, the creation of the ‘Bereavement Room’ at the Warrnambool Base Hospital will be the initial aim so that a family can be properly supported during the initial stages of their loss journey.
We’ve Got You will be there to listen, provide advice and support through all stages of loss.
